How long is the contract?

6-month minimum, then rolling monthly. Cancel any time after the first six months with 30 days’ notice. No exit fees, no penalties. Once you’ve paid the install fee at the start, that’s the only one-off cost.

What happens if the machine breaks?

Call or text me. Most faults I can sort in two minutes on the phone (door not closed properly, lint trap blocked, load unbalanced). If it’s a real fault, I come out — usually same or next day — and repair on the spot. If I can’t repair it, I bring a working replacement as quickly as I can. That guarantee is in the contract, not just on the website.

Do I need a credit check?

No. There’s no credit agreement here. You’re renting a machine I own. Standing order from your bank account, monthly. No finance, no APR, no credit-file impact.

Are the machines new or refurbished?

Mixed. All machines are tested, cleaned, PAT-tested for electrical safety, and guaranteed to work before they leave my van. I prefer reliable, repairable brands (Hotpoint, Indesit, Beko, Bosch direct-drive models). If the machine ever stops working properly, that’s on me to swap — not on you to live with.

Can I move the machine to a new address?

Yes, within the West of Scotland. If you’re a tenant moving locally, I can usually redeliver to your new address for the £15–£25 install fee (depending on location) again. Outside the West of Scotland I’d have to terminate the contract — give me a call and we’ll figure out the cleanest option.

Do you serve Ayrshire / Lanarkshire / specific suburb?

Almost certainly yes. I deliver across Glasgow, East and West Dunbartonshire, East Renfrewshire, Renfrewshire, North and South Lanarkshire and Ayrshire. See the full list on the areas we cover page, or just call and ask — most West of Scotland postcodes are fine.

How do I pay?

Standing order from your bank account, monthly, on a date that works for you. I set it up with you on the day of install. You can see exactly when it comes out and stop it any time.

Do you do washer-dryers and dryers too?

Yes — washer-dryer combos are £40/month. Standalone dryers I can arrange if you ask; not on the standard price list because most customers want the combo. Fridge-freezer hire is also possible — call to discuss.

What if I want to cancel before the 6 months are up?

You can. No exit fee, no penalty, no settling-up-the-remaining-months — just give 30 days’ notice and I’ll come collect the machine.

Are you insured? Are the machines safe?

Yes. Public liability cover is in place and the policy details are available on request. Every machine is PAT-tested for electrical safety before it leaves my van, and re-tested at any service visit. The rental agreement is drafted under Scottish law and shared with you in advance.
